The ethereal and visually stunning images by the French photographer Maia Flore’s Sleep Elevations series come to mind this warm Saturday afternoon as I wait for my son to wake from his nap. {Well, my dreamy afternoon is when he takes a long nap}. Her work exudes mystery and a sense of enchantment. I first read about Maia Flore on the belopotosky blog, and today seemed to be the perfect day to share it.
This young contemporary surrealist photographer is currently having her first solo exhibition at La Galerie Madé in Paris. She is a graduate of the École des Gobelins in Paris and also resides in the City of Lights, where she practices photography.
